People complaing cause the city wanted to demolish Housing Projects. That were empty and rendered unlivable after katrina.

Those people have been through hell, and they can't seem to get their lives back.

They are pushing Journalists around. Who owns the u.s. these days... the government?
OK here from a Born and raised New Orleans Resident, Is what actually happening.
The people outside weren't let in cause the Meeting hall was full.
It wasn't City Hall that they were at it was the city council building.
Those aren't the peoples houses. That's city and fed. property. Which before the storm were run down slums because the residents didn't to shit to take care of them.

If they are City/state/fed projects then they were not the one required to take care of them.
