@lulzlover On Pentax Pro-DSLRS , the A-EL button serves to purposes ,1) to Auto-Exposure and 2) too Lock Auto-Exposure by using the Menus Controls!!!!

does changing the AF button to AE-L make it turn off auto focus? IE: can you enable both options or can you only have one or the other?

Thanks for your vids. I just ordered this camera and want to shoot video and didn't want to believe everyone that said it did crappy vids. I'll bet there are all kinds of fixes for the problems the camera has. Are you happy with the video on this camera now??

This model is discontinued, but I think the K-R is the same camera except with a lithium battery as well. I wouldn't get either camera if you want to use video. Exposure problems, no manual controls, noisy zoom, no auto focus, noisy stabilising motor. Bad night time exposure. Records in Mjpeg, so GIANT FILES.

Only buy this or other model for pictures.
