@TheSunmanho That's a scary thought. I honestly am seriously starting to feel more and more that 2012 could have a possibility of actually happening, because all of this shit thats happening. For the firs time, I think ever, half of the world is going through crazy depressions. :/

my fear is that it happens again. Maybe Iraq and Afghanistan are just the starters for a new World War.
the reason is simple: weapons are much more expensive than consumer goods. You must drink bilions of Coke cans and eat zillions of hamburgers to get the value of one fighter plane. There's BIG money in killing people. It is sad and frightening.

@TheSunmanho yeah, i understand that part, but Herbert Hoover was the president at the beginning of the war & the great depression, even though FDR was there when we invaded, but if you mean started the war for USA, then i apologize cuz you're right, i thought you meant in general. I don't think his motives were purely financial though, even though it most likely played a major part in it.

USA was totally fucked up in 1929. USA was bankrupt, just like today. 4 years of crisis made evrything worse. Then 1933 the evil dictator came to power and he knew: start a World War and the US will get rich again. You can build millions of rifles, tanks, bomber planes and so on. Big business! You can slaughter milions and get rich. You can drop the atom bomb and expand all over the globe. Rebuilding makes you even richer. Kill for profit = evil.
