Saw two of these last year here in SD. Really neat creatures. Thanks for posting.

is it normal to find one of these guys cruising around in the Caymen islands, i am almost certain i saw one on my last visit.

Perhaps the most disgusting creature I have ever seen...interesting though.

Nice. I thought sea hares were nudibranchs. I stand corrected. Thanks for the information. I have some footage of a sea hare in a tide pool on my video 'tide pools and sea caves | Leo Carillo Beach | 20 May 2009,' though it's not as good as this footage.

I have a spotted sea hare. It's not a california sea hair it is spotted from St. Thomas where I found it and it's current home. ^o^

Useful video-- good info and better quality than my own footage (lousy digital camera) I've linked to it from my webpage on sea hares, thank you!

Glad you enjoyed the video and please feel free to link to any of my videos as much as you like. I have some additional video that I have yet to edit showing a group of sea hares mating. Really neat showing the big pile they all get into and the spaghetti-like eggs... well it's neat if you're into biology like me.
