Santa Cruz is full of jerk offs, possibly more so than anywhere I've ever been. Lots of people that try to vibe you just because you're not from their neighborhood. What do you expect from a place where the "soul patch" is so rampant. Nice town full of idiots.

@secretsandbar I moved to Santa Cruz '75 after having grown up in West LA surfing Malibu, Rincon etc. from '63. At that time Santa Cruz was a "backwater" and rarely even scored a photo in the two bimonthly mags. It was hard to find people to surf with at Davenport Landing because it was just too spooky - you could smell the great whites - and in fact, there was a shark attack there. Now look at it. Can't even park. Even OB and Mavericks are packed. Too many "instant locals". Dora was right.

@ashboogie999 Disregard the comment by ashboogie999, he does not even surf, he is just a little sponger speed-bump who too scared to learn how to stand up like a man. See you as I am dropping three hard fins onto your weak skull. We don't even want to go to some overly crowded polluted sand bar with hundreds of spongers and so cal kooks.
