The 5.7 had more than 300 bhp, the 6.0 had getting on for 410 hp. In the end when the 6.0 was put in the VE clubbies they had getting on for 420 hp. Then they moved onto the ls2, great video though.

Less than 300hp? The last performance Holden to make less than 300hp was in 1998 with the Iron block and head Aussie engine called the 5.7L Haddon Stroker and had 295hp

you can buy it in the US as a pontiac gto, 04 model has the ls1 350hp and the 05-06 has the ls2 with 400hp, you can find them usually used with a decent amount of miles for around 14-16k, alot of car for what is essentially a brand new honda civic. think about that

idk what jeremy is talking about a 5.7L LS1 made 325-350hp a 5.7L LS6 made385-405 a 6.0L LS2 made 380-400hp and the 6.2 LS3 makes 415-440hp depending on what vehicle is was tuned for and the "monoro VXR/ Holden VXR8/ Pontiac GTO" were identical cars and the LS2 made 400hp 400lbsTQ....same as the corvette at the time 6.0L LS2..is he daft?

No, it's a Holden Monaro. It was rebadged as a Pontiac GTO for the US (with a very ugly nose), and now as a Vauxhall for the UK, but it is completely Australian designed and built. It existed here for years before it was exported to other countries.
