@ninucha1234 Are you using the lasso or the magic wand. you cant do it with the magic wand but you should be able to do with with the lasso!!

mmm ive been trying to use the hi fi 4 step process but i cant copy the selected area to a new layer...am i doing something wrong? when i use the lasso tool it dosent even let me copy it to a new layer ...dose it have something to do with the layer?? the book dosent specify that so idk what to do o-o

that was really cool man , can u tell when using the lasso tool do i have to make it fatherd or just a simple default lasso tool?

99% of the time I use the Lasso with anti-alias off and zero feather. Occasionally I'll add a feather if I need to create a soft but controlled edge.
