Since everyone is throwing around names, this needs to be clarified... this motor is not a "Duratec" motor; it is a "DuratecST" motor, which is the moniker for the ST170's Zetec engine. Similarly, the Mk1 Focus RS engine, also a Zetec, is called the "DuratecRS" motor.

Yes the duratecs are rebranded Zetec engines with slight modification. Its like the zetec is a rebrand of the Zeta unit ford was using in the early 90s. [zeta/zetec are same thing]

In north america thats the motor thats put int he SVT Focus. Here they've labeled it an SVT Zetec, so at least its badged right.
When those TBs opened up why did it sound so boggy? I own an SVT Focus so I'm runnin the same motor, minus ITBs of course :)
What numbers did you run?

Its boggy becuase it was being held under load to sort out the mapping, the car/engine wasn't mine(see my other vids for my focus) but Matt at Mtech is able to get 200bhp on the ST170 engine with bodies and management

Indeed, its a zetec with variable cam timing that Ford badged up as a Duratec
