  • @MrLmevancoe A band can't solve problems, they can voice them however. Look at U2. They realized they were shitebags and everyone sat down beside Bono. I'd rather they address problems than attempt to solve them, because then you'd be on here saying how is playing a song a soloution, singing to a choir who just want to follow etc etc

  • @MrLmevancoe would you rather they be a band promoting corrupt corporate America?

  • @jctrowbridge I care, because theu constantly berate the rich and those who support capitalism. Ironically, they are quite wealthy from capitalism. Also, they don't really politically motivate the youth, they more use the "anti-everything, I'm a teen and hate authority" gag to sell cds and shirts. I used to be a "punk" in high school...I've been to the shows...Anti-Flag preaches to the choir...a choir who needs to catch the bus to school in the morning.

  • @MrLmevancoe Who cares if they're making bank? Anti-Flag has been around a really long time and they deserve every cent of their hard work. I agree with you that they target a younger crowd, however I think they do a good job at getting youth politically motivated. They're not telling you to think a certain way only sharing their views.

  • They are vague because they promote blanket interpretations of what is done in the US (good or bad). They provide no solutions. They market their musi to high schoolers who want to rebel against their parents. They make a good profit off of merchandise sales. They use capatalism for their own profit while they make hundreds of thousands of dollars in record sales. Please think for yourselves!

  • @MrLmevancoe How exactly are their lyrics vague? I'm just curious. That's just, it is pronounced "EAR-ROCK", but the English pronunciation is "I-RACK" which, I agree, you should pronounced a country like the Natives intend for it to be pronounced.

  • They mispronounced Iraq. Its pronounced "EAR-ROCK." They also have painfully vague lyrics.

  • @BramR17 They're not too bad.

It's really a lot of fun to play.

This and Die For Your Government

  • @Surpr3m3 Google it there are enough. I hope your a good bass player because this is a very very hard song.
