Stillborn Memorial Portraits Video 2010.wmv

http://drawnbydebbie.com/memorials2.htm Stillbirth occurs to 1 in every 200 babies born. Over 4 million stillbirths occur every year around the world. It is my goal to help every bereaved parent have a portrait of their baby to proudly hang in their home. Hopefully, the portrait will become a treasured keepsake and help ease the pain of having nothing to display.

Thank you to the parents for consent to show pictures and portraits of their babies in an effort to help and educate other grieving parents.

It is my hope to provide grieving parents with comfort knowing they have the option of having a portrait make of their baby at any week of life.

@rigaflr Thank you so much! I drew this portrait of Jesus holding a baby for parents who do not have a photo of their baby. I would like to do more like this because it feels so comfortable to me to think of my baby in the arms of Jesus.

I THINK THIS IS WONDERFUL BECAUSE (NOT TRYING TO BE INSENSITIVE) ITS A LITTLE HARD TO LOOK AT, AND SAD. . .DO ANY PPL WANT THERE EYES OPEN IN THE DRAWINGS? MY COUSIN'S BABY WAS BORN WITH T-13 AND HE COULDN'T OPEN HIS EYES. . .I THINK SHE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A DRAWING WITH HIS EYES OPEN.

@binkybreezy1988 Yes, I agree it is hard to look at, but that is why people want softened portraits drawn. It is their baby, only easier to view.

I have not had a request to draw the eyes open, but I would be willing to do so. Take a look at my web gallery and you will see many examples of babies with their eyes open.
