  • lion fishes are not edible,

but as Frisk151 says, now there are over polpulated in caribbeans, and killing lots of other sea lives

BTW, for lion fish u don't need to pull the triger u can just stab them with your spear, they wont scape shooting form that close and hitting your spear to the rock behind the fish, will bend your spear (I have one of those beuchat )

  • @rezfarari

Actually, they are edible and they taste very good.. Similar to hogfish, IMO..

  • Because these "poor fishes" don't belong in the Caribbean.. They have no natural predators and eat everything in sight = decimating the reefs..

  • @rezfarari they are totally edible dude... whole cookbooks dedicated to cooking them up.

  • @TheNeonTide i was being sarcastic

  • @NikLagua you question why he hunts poor fishies and then you ask him about the weapon he's using? what exactly are YOU trying to hunt? human?

  • i hunt for lobsters in west palm and i havnt seen a lion fish ever until a year ago i see 3 a dive now

  • What type of spear gun was that and what did you do with the fish after you shot them? I'm going to start hunting lion fish. There population has grown quite substantially here in South Florida. Last week I was diving out of Jupiter and I counted 8 in a single dive!
