Happy Labor Day!
On this gorgeous Labor Day Monday, I drove up to Oklahoma City and caught two northbound BNSF trains along "Crossing Alley." I saw the first train between NW 12th St and NW 11th St, and the train was well overpowered with a total of six locomotives. The second train is seen at NW 16th St, and is carrying wind turbine blades up north for new wind farms being built across the Great Plains.

Train 1: Northbound Manifest Train
Time: 4:17 PM CDT
Location: Oklahoma City, OK between NW 12th St and NW 11th St
Motive Power: BNSF 5157 (C44-9W), BNSF 4866 (C44-9W), BNSF 4051 (C44-9W), BNSF 5289 (C44-9W), BNSF 1509 (ex-BN GP28M) & BNSF 2026 (GP38-2)
Comments: It appears that the 12th St crossing has been closed and is slated to be removed soon, since the road leading up to the crossing on either side is now barricaded off and the crossing surface has been partially removed.

Train 2: Northbound Wind Turbine Train
Time: 4:33 PM CDT
Location: Oklahoma City, OK @ NW 16th St
Motive Power: BNSF 5205 (C44-9W) & BNSF 5349 (C44-9W)

Also the first train passed the Amtrk station in temple yesterday around eight. Only had the 5157 n 4866. Thanks for sharing.
