but it also comes at a fairly high price!.. and it also works on bass :)

The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I bought it on a Saturday and played on it until Tuesday. When I turned it on, it was dead, but the lights and buttons worked. I got a poping sound when I changed preset, but that's the only sound I got. I returned to the dealer and got a new one and have been very happy ever since. This pedal sounds fantastic! I am however disappointed with the quality, since several dealers reports that a huge percentage of the units has defects....

Runs on 12V not 9. Like most overdrive pedals, how it sounds depends more on the fingers and the amp it's overdriving. Sounds excellent in this demo!
