Today we talk about some enhancements and repairs to a fast traxx (a radio controlled car from the early 90s)

Appologies, my laptop is broken so I haven't had a chance to update the website with this post yet. ETA Wednesday.

  • wow nice !when I was a kid I loved different cars like this, and now I want to have one to rebuild it into a little motor boat :D

also I've always dreamed about having a little helicopter, and I still want it, I think Sanyo rechargeable batteries will be the best for it, considering their light-weight, they are the best for such devices, which carry themselves

    what do you think?

  • @TabalugaDragon I thought I had replied to this, but I can't see it. Normally I'm pretty brand-agnostic. Instead I'd choose the battery type based on the task at hand. If weight isn't a problem, but maybe it needs to endure shocks, I'd probably choose NiCad or NiMH. If weight is more of an issue, I'd choose LiPo, but take care to avoid shocks, or pad things appropriately to reduce the impact of shocks.

I've stuck a link in the description to the rcCar->boat episode.
