I imagined this scene like a possessive father who take her daughter Lauretta in his hands.. She prays to a huge figure, like a God; and she is little, but her request is really simply: she wants to love her boyfriend. This contrast of dimensions is a symbol of the pure character who is Lauretta, simply, full of love. Her surly father look her, but feels inside something new: the happiness for a love. Dedicated to my father who loves this aria. I made this movie in 202. My first one.
