@ThePieIsLie I've found that SOME, not all my DVDs tend to look terrible when upscaled due to stuff they did when making the DVD like line sharpening and the like. I generally read multiple reviews before I say "hey, Maybe I should buy the blu".

Good thing about blu ray players is that they'll always be able to play regular DVDs so I don't see the need in upgrading one's entire collection. Maybe stop buying new DVDs but still keep the old ones.

@ireland474 lol i have a 360 and i want a ps3 not for a "game console" but for a blu ray player is it worth it tho?? its fucking £290 ps3 is very expensive
