Activision Classics - Tennis (Fast Speed)

My PlayStation's the all-time champion of this game! Yes, never once was I able to beat him, even with the wide angles turned (which was accidentally once, but I normally keep them off to have the game fair). I have managed to score a few times against him, but that's all I've done for points. It shows that he is in good shape, anyway.

In Tennis, you must score points to win sets and games. To score, the opponent must let the ball either bounce twice or go far out of bounds. Once 6 games are won, the game is over.

I've managed to score 3 times against my old friend. I did let a few tennis balls slip by me a few times in the beginning, but I was pretty mentally exhausted when playing this. The fast speed was pretty overwhelming!

Do you mean for Tennis itself or for the compliation disk it was recorded off from? From a bit of research on GameFAQs, there aren't any known cheats for Tennis, but the game disk for A Collection of Activision Classic Games for the Atari 2600, on the original PlayStation, can be put into a CD player to listen to six tunes (from finding this out, I'm a bit interested in trying this out).

I love this game...i have it for my real atari 2600.

Fond memories of this: for Christmas that year I wanted Atari 2600 Pac-Man really bad, but got this instead. I was kind of disappointed at first, but this game quickly became one of my favorites. Even my mother liked it, and she hates videogames. ;)

It was extremely difficult to beat the computer in this game. It felt like almost a waste of time, like Activision's Laser Blast, which was way too easy to play.
