I love this song and what you've done with it. You are an extremely talented musician. I've been trying to figure it out for weeks now! Would love to see some chords written out if you're ever up for it!

Thanks for playing this for me. Check out my version. I just recorded and uploaded it today, after several takes. I figured out the chords many years ago from a thick Jazz fake book for Eb instruments. So maybe the chords aren't the easiest for guitar, but I worked on it until I came up with something that would work for me. I would like to learn other jazz standards.

One of my favorite songs. I saw Steve Martin in that movie of the same name; it must have made an impression on me. The lyrics mean a lot to me. It has a lovely intro that I was not aware of.

Just terrific! You've done a really great job of capturing the essence of the great American standard, namely great chords and lilting melody. Music used to be such a pleasure and you've really done a nice job with this, as well as your other standards. Also a very nice touch singing the verse, which is left ou far too often.
