@MrCameronBinkley Umm, that really depends. I would say probably not if its a tube TV. I'm basing my assumption that your TV has almost no input lag whatsoever so it should be very similar to the CRT. Regardless, the VH236H is very responsive so you shouldn't have any problems really.

@BestGamingMonitor Oh okay, I didn't know that. thank you for telling me! so there is pretty much no input lag, like would I be able to tell a difference from going to my tube T.V to this monitor?
-
@MrCameronBinkley Yeah, that's a pretty common misconception. The GTG response time is 2 ms, the input lag is just over 8 ms.
Response time measures pixel transition times. Input lag measures how long it takes an input signal to show up on screen.

@BestGamingMonitor actually the VH236H has a 2 ms response time, not 8..
-
@JLemosify Actually the VH236H has an 8 ms input lag, about half a frame. For first person shooters, its pretty much impossible to tell. You're only able to see it for fighting games like SF4 and even then only when the video is slowed down to a 1/10 speed.
I have to send the monitor out tmrw so I can't do any more recordings. Sry dude.

Also can you do a Gears Of War 3 or Battlefield 3 one? Thanks
-
So I'm guessing the ASUS has a lower input lag than a CRT?

@BestGamingMonitor K thx man ; )
Did you split a VGA signal?

@OryKid No, my video card only has 2 DVI outs and a single HDMI. The CRT is connected to output 1 via converter and the VH236H is connected to output 2 via DVI.
Screens are mirrored at 1280 x 1024 resolution.
