Power, tyranny, & oppression with the best health care for [everyone in Cuba] in the world? You should rethink the way you view some of what he's done. He's of a revolutionary mode and for Ed Sullivan to hail him, he must have been righteous enough in what he did back in the late 50's. Propaganda can make or break someone and sometimes not everything written or said is true.

You think Fidel never killed his own people ? ....I remember a story my father told me of his neighbor being pulled from his bed in the middle of the night ....toward the end of the revolution....They shot him in the back of the head in front of his two children. Fidel killed many Cubans...and many just disappeared into the cane fields.

He rose as a revolutionary ....The rise of Fidel Castro against the rich and corrupt in Government in Cuba...is often portrayed as a struggle for the common man. In realty he was using the Cuban people. Once he attained "el poder" he showed his true colors. A power hungry tyrant. Fidel is no hero .... he will pay for all eternity for the families, lives and the country he destroyed.

Man, this guy was seriously playing too many Command & Conquer (strategic war video games)...that and/or the board game RISK... "& fight is the only way leading to defeat the enemy who have economic resources, much more, & much more technological resources. Guerilla involves the use of the territory resources & above all using the social resources of a people to overcome the advantages open to the enemy in terms of technological resources, & economic resources."Like I said, too much C&C and RISK
