@Abdikarimelmi AFAIK Nubia was never conquered by the Romans and therefore they would more likely have some black slaves sold to them by nubians and ethiopians but not soldiers or citizens. Citizens were those individuals belonging to populations living inside the empire and universally granted citizenship only since 212 AD.
