@JurakaF well i know about that, but i was talking about an actual amp with a 100V output. These are mostly used in a shopping center or outdoor. I have one of those just laying here and i wondered if it was usefull. so does anyone else know if i can use it to drive an subwoofer?

@zmorrg amps are rated with Watts not Volts, and it depends on which sub you have. If you've got a 100W amp and your sub is rated for 100 or more RMS Watts, yes you could hook it up and turn the amp up all the way without blowing the sub. Google that shit for more detailed info :]
