Choreography by Rafael Bonachela
New score by Ezio Bosso
As a starting point for the work, the creative team are exploring the signs that surround us from the moment we leave our front doors - signs that inform, warn and perhaps even threaten - whether Mind the gap, Kill your speed or Danger. They have started to look at the emotional impact of these everyday signs, both their immediate messages and the feelings they convey from our pasts. How we respond can speak volumes about us - do we follow them all or instantly rebel?
Rafael Bonachela will be working with renowned Italian composer Ezio Bosso whose credits range from dance (Christopher Wheeldon and Ballet Boyz) to theatre to contemporary cinema and silent films.
Bonachela will collaborate with Alan Macdonald, known for his designs with some of Britains leading directors, including The Queen (2006) with Stephen Frears and Edge of Love (2008) with John Maybury.
