Yes, a treble reel is a hard shoe step and is danced to reel music. Both treble reels and soft shoe reels are danced to reel tunes.

sorry, have to disagree. I danced for years in top comps, now teach and judge, and that is not the kind of dancing i want my kids to do! She needs to stretch up!
