As for the hate thing, Christians claim that "hate" simply means "love less." My question is why they didn't just write "love less," and why the translations never translate it as "love less" if that's what it actually means. I have yet to get an answer to that question.

I hate my family (all of them are christians). My mother has always asked me why is that. Now I can tell her: "Jesus wants me to hate you! You want me to follow Jesus' orders, right?"

I wanted to focus on Jesus as a human being, and not what he may have done before his human incarnation.

And Islam is only more violent because it still holds a lot of power in certain areas of the world. Christianity was just as violent, or moreso, when it held all the power. Judaism was exactly the same.
