A foot deep powder storm in February of 2009 provided perfect conditions for multiple laps on this stunning couloir, named after the Elk carcass that inhabits it's upper flanks. Join ClimbingLife Guides owner and IFMGA Licensed Mountain Guide, Eli Helmuth and friends for a glimpse of this, one of many amazing days in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. Eli resides in Estes Park, 15 minutes from the trailhead which accesses this stunning mountain terrain - a climber and skier's dreamland! Visit us at www.climbinglife.com for more information on skiing opportunities in Estes Park, Colorado.
