  • QUT engaged with *a* group, also a financial participant, and has cold shouldered others.M&H were not or ought not to have been tried for their reputations-there were official charges, not for bullying, but for misrepresentation/defamation of Noonan/McKee/CI on 3 occasions:confirmation seminar, email,OzHES.You were worried about moral panics before,if this 1 is groundless it could have been solved by consultation rather than king hits.QUT's impulses in this do it and its hardworking staff no credit.

  • The university engaged with the advocacy group, with participants, & with guardians. The participants were tested psychologically. Two persons, one who used to have respect, the other known as a serial bully, did something dumb that impacted upon innocent people (the disabled persons involved, their parents, people at the University who really put in long hours). The charges against M&H were in relation to bullying, (the University's Code of Conduct), not in relation to Noonan's work.

  • So, err, nothing to see here? M&H do want Noonan's project altered or stopped, fine. But who wiped the students' blog of their discussion of the matter, substituting McKee's flannel?Who denied M&H the right to a fair defence in the disciplinary tribunal? If you want to reality check this as a petty vendetta, you might consider the parties. If M&H are wrong, then QUT could have engaged with the disability advocacy groups, shown them the material,&popped the panic.Easy,so why the authoritarian response?

  • Dodgy dogma has been finally awakened by karma. Two disgrunted lecturers launch a dubious moral panic to futher their own vendettas (personal attacks on people they dislike). Now, it's reality check time..the game is exposed. People who talk about freedom of expression being denied demanding a right to censor other people's work???
