The Loyal Order Lodges are Protestants who support the Crown. The R.C.s tried to exterminate Protestants but were defeated at the Battle of the Boyne. The Orangemen were started "lest we forget". Their victory and their resulting religious freedom are celebrated each July 12.
Orange Lodges do not profess any religious theology per se. It's akin to, "eternal vigilance is the price of religious freedom", IMO, and not religious biggotry.

If it weren't for my Orange ancestors we'd all be Roman Catholic with the risk of being molested and abused by the ones wearing "holy Roman cloth". Thank God for my Orangemen ancestors. Having said that, I take offense at the Orange scum who do biggoted violence. It's time for peace, but with a cautionary remembrance of the past. It's time to live and let live, if the hierarchy will let us, but I'm will to give anyone 10:1 odds that they won't. It's not in their control freak mentality.
