  • The video states that the presidio played an important roll in the Texas Revolution in 1776. I believe they meant 1836. The American Revolution was in 1776, Texas Revolution in 1836.

  • @MaryAnnSawyers Actually, I would say 1835 and 1836. The Texians took La Bahia in October 1835 with the Mexicans retaking it in March 1836. On Palm Sunday March 27, 1836 by order of Santa Anna some 350 unarmed Texian prisoners of war were murdered in and just outside the presidio in what came to be called the 'Goliad Massacre'.
