As you know, we have recently unveiled a historic advertising campaign to tell the story of Starbucks. Its generating a lot of excitement in the marketplace.

This Coffee Campaign, simply put, is Starbucks. And there is no our story without our baristas. We traveled around to various stores and asked them to give their thoughts.

Were determined to tell our story, the story of Starbucks. Great coffee is more than a beverage; its an extension of community, conversation, and our values. Simply put, there is no our story without our baristas.

  • You're wrong my whole coffee mastering was on fair trade, and we pay all of our growers 10% above the coffee rate. You should really learn your facts before you speak.

  • I wish I would get more friendly guests at my store, all I get is ghetto slang talkers that interrupt me when I greet them or try to say that I'm wrong when they won't even let me talk.

  • At least the last part is true. Even if the Company doesn't treat partners as they would like to be treated, the partners do pour their hearts into it. If it wasn't for that, I'm sure there wouldn't be nearly as many people working there.

  • Wal-Mart should copy this.....LMAO!!!!!!

  • The Baristas in Starbucks can't really tell what they really feel so it doesn't matter how great the Baristas are allowed some airtime to talk about their company because it's all a pack of lies. We get fired if we spoke the truth and i know because i'm a shift supervisor there and we have strict rules on what we tell the customers.

  • lmao. I used to work there and would always work a 5:30 morning shift and I would always contemplate if I should keep on driving or just crash into a tree, so I so feel you on that one.

  • i work in starbucks :D

  • Only one of Starbucks' coffees is fair trade...Cafe estima...

  • Yeah, the baristas are always cool. I've met a few kinda weird ones, but even those ones were awake and alert. Dunkin Donuts has some goood coffee and good hot cocoa but the only DD with friendly employees are in the rich neighborhoods. Starbucks is in every neighborhood and they're all nice.
