  • To freestate 12: What maks you think it won't fly? It looks like Boeing is mass producing them now and I doubt they'll scrap the whole project at this point. Who cares if it's been delayed a little, it's still coming and it will FLY.

  • Boeing has done it again, right vision at the right time. This thing is going to beat the pants off of Airbus, especially if fuel prices keep climbing.

  • @cheshire03 Looking back from January 2012 . . . it flies, it is beautiful in flight, it is more efficient than any plane up to this time, it has a huge number of orders (even in these recessionary times - or maybe especially in these recessionary times).

  • @balcrstephens Nah, just Union labor....

  • The guy at 4:15 must be on break? wtf?

  • @MASTERRACE19 Well, it should fair well since it's stronger than aluminum and doesn't corrode

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961. Maybe, but Lufthansa are feeling a bit lonely as the only airline to order the passenger version. To be fair though, it's the best large freighter.

Since the 'Airbus copycats' pioneered twin jet widebodies, they've got every right to produce a 787 competitor. Don't confuse 'competitor' with 'copy'. Both companies are responsible for numerous innovations that's driven aerospace technology forward and they're both due credit for this.

Why do you think the A350 a 787 copy?

  • When is Airbus going to launch their copycat?????. Well i guess Airbus is busy making a delivery mess with the useless A380. Makes me wonder how many airlines today who has orders in the A-380 want to cancel them and buy the 747-8i Dreamliner instead. I guess most of them.

  • This plane will save the airline industry.

  • i wonder how the carbon fibre fusalage - will hold up after a few thousand cycles

  • @Jimbo898 I think this is gonna have more success than Airbusses doubledecker. That half the world's airports can't hold coz of it's massive size, and fuel consumption. This can land in any intl. airport, and saves more fuel and is cheaper to fly by.
