Edit: My pick: Hawaii. Coin pick: Tulsa
My record: 4-3 Coin record: 5-2

It really is what makes picking bowl games so difficult is not anticipating what team shows up. Hawaii uncharacteristically throwing 5 interceptions while Tulsa not throwing any (yes they fumbled the ball) made a huge difference. This could have been a 130 point game. Crazy.

Credit Tulsa for getting a ton of QB pressure and making Bryant Moniz look like he doesn't belong as a starter.
______________

I'm not sure this one is going to be as much of a shootout as people think it might be.

Crazy to think that if Hawaii hadn't beaten Nevada we would maybe be talking about how Nevada got screwed out of a BCS game.

Sorry if I mispronounced any of the names I only saw Hawaii against USC and Tulsa against Notre Dame.

  • If you're going to post picks, you might want to do a little research on the teams before posting a video. Just sayin.

  • @jmemerson567 Did plenty of research. Hawaii not making mistakes beats Tulsa not making mistakes. Tulsa was able to get way more pressure than I think Hawaii expected causing them to throw FIVE interceptions. Five Ints changed to 5 TDs and Hawaii wins 70-62. Hawaii moved the ball well enough but Moniz made a lot of terrible decisions.

  • Yeah, if we just discount all five Tulsa interceptions as flukes and then take the next logical step and assume Hawaii was going to score touchdowns on all five of those drives and double their score from 35 to 70, then yes, they would have won by one possession. Maybe Tulsa is just that good? You happen to check and see where TU ranks in interceptions and takeaways? Could have given you a clue that Tulsa is kind of good at that sort of thing.
