  • I Love this episode :-)

  • This clip contains two of the least curious people in TV land, firstly the fisherman for obvious reasons and then Mrs Peel, it took her until they were on the train before she asked why they were going to her to Little Baisley by the Sea.

  • What is 'mother' doing on the train? and he is not crippled. :) Guess they chose to cast the same guy for later seasons as 'mother'

  • @saveme7eebu5 Hahaha!!

  • On the train. Steed's reading a book called Great Disappearing Acts. Mrs Peel's magazine looks like it says Premature Ejaculation.

  • I will fence with ONE person. Seriously, who disliked this?

  • Simply the most wonderful and unforgettable duo next to Max & 99, and one of the most perfect spy shows in TV history

  • @priapus56 It's art. It's a living. It's passion. Check me out as "Lisa Baumgardner" in MODERN WOMEN by The Museum of Modern Art, if you care to. "His servitude was his own idea." It's been a gas! I'm Amish, by the way. I probably have more serious objectivity than you might think. I think Steed was utterly tickled with himself, don't you? Remember when he went to butling school? Perhaps I'm not priapic enough to suit you. "Next?!"

  • @slobomotion How dreadfully pleased you sound with yourself! I bet its the longest love affair you've ever had.. you and you... Forget yourself once in awhile..as Steed says, "Friendly advice."

  • Those boots she wears during the fencing scenes were my favorites. I was just obsessed with those. I was wearing a pair like that on the Bowery and Joey Ramone spotted me and I got a date on the spot with him! Just a drink at Gildersleeve's but . . . it's the details, love, it's the details. The black leather never hurt, either.

  • @priapus56 Heh heh heh. Quite an inspiration to me, a girl from Ohio. I was voted NYC's best dominatrix of the 1980s by an independent panel of men's magazine editors in the '90s! I did bondage modeling, too, had a career longer than Bettie Page's (worked with some people who'd known her!) It was funny, cuz I DID get recognized, but what could they say, in the Halls of Commerce? Naughty, naughty me. xo

  • @scotpens You wanna see..Mrs Peel Queen of Sin, mate..oh! My Gord!!

  • BEST show...EVER!!!

  • ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!

  • John Steed was a true gentleman and Emma was a real babe.

  • 4:24 -- Lovely butt shot. I didn't remember Diana Rigg's outfit being open in back all the way down to her derriere. Maybe those shots were cut for American television?

  • the teacher juliet harmon is also adam adamants companion in the series.

  • @Bladerunner93

His bag reminds me of Mary Poppins too. LOL!!! :D

  • @swollower

The man on the train (Patrick Newell) played Mother for 21 episodes on The Avengers during the 1968-69 season. While he did make two appearances on The Secret Agent starring Patrick Mcgoohan, Newell never appeared in The Prisoner.

  • The English and their tea :-) so funny and nice.

  • Steed's bag reminds me of Mary Poppins

  • Emma Peel....Absolute Perfection !!!
