At Mars Hill Church, we are committed to not just believing things, but living in light of them. What the world doesn't need is another series of lectures on marriage, but practical training, teaching, and modeling on marriage. We want to encourage a culture of humble honesty, so Pastor Mark and Grace led by example, writing a book that openly and honestly examines their own sin and God's redemption in their own marriage.

This clip is excerpted from the sermon "New Marriage, Same Spouse," part 1 of Mars Hill Church's Real Marriage sermon series, based off the book of the same name by Pastor Mark and Grace Driscoll. It was preached by Pastor Mark at Mars Hill Downtown Bellevue and released on January 15.

  • Please, don't do this. He paid the price for all your wrongdoing, but in turn you have been insulting Him in such horrible and terrible ways. How could you say such things to the one person that will never wrong you? There are truly terrible people in this world, and of all people you choose to slander Jesus Christ. He does not deserve you slandering Him like you do. We don't want you to go to Hell for the sin you've committed :(. Repent and place your trust in Jesus Christ.

  • @SamWiseGingy Mark has done a couple sermons on demons, you will be able to find out his verification's in his 17th sermon in Luke called Jesus and Demons. He discussed biblical evidence and personal experience there.

  • @SamWiseGingy no no no. I consider seeing your negative comments on multiple youtube videos as animosity...Mark Driscoll's Authority was also addressed: The Bible. The Bible states that the beginning of knowledge and wisdom is fear of the Lord (The God of the Bible Yahweh)...Proverbs. In order to properly evaluate what Mark says, one must know the Bible (which speaks of Demons and Angels), and Fear the God of the Bible in pursuit of Wisdom. Is there anything else I can help you with??

  • @stephenearlpage You consider questioning MDs authority as animosity rather than simply answering the question. You have an unhealthy lack of critical thinking.

How do you know MD knows anything about demons and can his ideas be verified?

  • @SamWiseGingy Hey, you seem to have an unhealthy level of animosity towards Pastor Mark Driscoll. Don't you find your antagonistic behavior towards him odd? Pastor Mark uses the Bible as THE template for his sermons. I would highly recommend you watch his entire sermons instead of youtubing clips of them, and by comparing his sermons to the Bible (The highest authority), you will undoubtedly find that your comment is incorrect. If you start reading the Bible, start in John.

  • An authority on unseen things. MD knows as much about devils and demons as anyone else, which is to say nothing. There is no way to verify any of his ideas.
