Let's make one thing perfectly clear. NOBODY can cover or duplicate the great vocals of Danny, Chuck and Cory; when they were making hit records and were on top of their game. Most will agree, that even today, their vocals can still stand the test of time, as they continue to blow away audiences with their unique tight harmony. They also had a legendary group of outstanding musicians playing behind them; whose tracks and performances are forever etched in the pillars of Classic Rock.
This cover, recorded by RELAPSE in the fall of 02' , has fun paying tribute to 3 Dog Night, with this song , written about a sketchy, paranoid scenario; which has gotten out of control; causing the victim to remorse about why in the hell he's even there in the first place........... after being warned.
RELAPSE is proud of the instrumentation on the music track. Kevan's guitar work is outstanding as usual, Dick's drum parts are solid, while Ed's shakey vocals and warbled keyboards, paint the picture of a party gone wrong.
This was a blast to record.
Recorded at 4 Mounds Prairie Studios, near Spokane Wa.
during the Indian Summer and Fall of 2002.

RELAPSE played Classic Rock 1995 -2002.
Ed Myers - keyboards and lead vocal,
Kevan Southwick - all guitars and bass, backup vocals and mix.
Dick Culton - drums
