I live just in land from Malibu, And your waves look FUN!!! Way to make the most of in Minnesota. How often does it break like that?

That's at the south side of the mouth of the Lester river. Technically in Duluth, this is the where the North Shore officially starts.

We'll get waves like that a dozen or more times per year; some windier, some glassier, some bigger, some smaller.

@alyinsanfran I agree with ya, I surf the meager waves in LA 3 times a week in the summer but in the winter I chicken out a lot and go about once a week. These monkeys get my respect for going out in even colder temperatures! I'll be inspired by you and go out more this winter! :D

I'd love to surf the lakes one day. I surf NorCal 3-5 days a week, but you guys are way more core than any of us lazy buggers out here. It's inspiring.
