I have a 1999 vmax, its been parked abroad since 2007 and I am picking it up bringing it to my home country in the beginning of May. It got left behind when I moved, but its my baby and now the time has come to bring her home :) Awesome bikes, wish you the best of luck with it and have lots of fun! :)

warm it up for a good 15 mins AND THEN GO FROM LOW END TO HIGH END SLOWLY AND JUST FUCKING GUNNNN IT
best way to break it in. dont ever snap the throttle.
just eas from low power to full throttle
