Killdeer protecting its nest

This is the song you will hear if you accidentally walk too close to the nest of a Killdeer. They lay gravel-colored eggs in beds of gravel near where people walk and cars drive. You can see the eggs in the video if you look very closely. This was filmed outside Rutgers Stadium in Piscataway, NJ before the annual Scarlet-White Game on April 19, 2008.
