Make a Cylon - Robot for Autism Research

This entry is a small prototype robot named Yul. It's a combination of hardware and AI software.

Yul has speech recognition, vision recognition and an emotion response system and AI framework that is still underdevelopment.

The goal of this project is to develope an AI framework that can be applied to any robot, but we plan to release it for free as an educational tool for children with autism.

There's a great group of folks working on this project and we hope to have a version of the software along with a new mobile robot ready for release later this year.

I'm entering Yul in the Device Make a Cylon Contest because I love the show Battlestar and I like to think of Yul of a real life prototype cylon.
