No one is required to have a job at NU at any time, NU has a 4 year program as well, but encourages people to take a 5 year track that includes at least 2, 6 month co-op experiences between sophmore/junior year. Other universities are and should consider doing the same as it seems to work well I think, its a great program.

Anyways the reason NU kids get jobs after graduation is probably due to the fact that they are required to have a job during their fifth year of college. Those other schools you mentioned are 4 year colleges

@MannybeingManny2434 Hasn't been my experience at all. If anything NU has a strong identity due to the size of campus, its all pretty close knit, unlike BU which is spread over what 4 T-stops?. Actually I've never been to a non-nu party I wasn't specifically invited too either. In any event I think NU kids are more focused on getting jobs after graduation. #1 in that by the way out of the major business schools in the area Babson, BU, Bently and BC. Anyway agree to disagree

@MannybeingManny2434 except for fact NU's base cost is 44k/year (not including housing/meals + 12k/year) - making it actually the 2rd most expensive school in Boston since BC isn't actually in Boston...

@AirRaider56 how can you say vermont sucks? vermont has gone to the frozen four 2009, ncaa tournament 2010 and hockey east championship 2009 and semi finals 2010. this year is a rebuilding year for us. but vermont does not suck.

@thenewyorkyankeessux HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH NO! Vermont isnt ranked. Hell, us wisconsin people dont even know who Vermont University Is. Because Vermont Sucks. But i do admit, Wisconsin sucks this year to especially being ranked #15 when last year we were always #1 and #2.
