I read the book and the entire time I wanted Santiago to bring in that fish and i felt so happy when he did finally catch the darn thing, but I noticed that I was only half way through and I had a bad feeling about the ending and it makes me sad every time I think about it. This is an amazing piece of work this animation and I am glad that I found something so wonderful.
