  • P.S. - Oscar, I love your videos.

  • More info about the music see the page for Edgardo Donato in TodoTango.

When tango started to become more sophisticated, some musicians with classical background adapted some pieces from the masters. Oscar

  • what miraculos feetwork.. so fantastic musical frazing

  • "Mi serenata" borrows from Bach's "Air".

  • This tango is "La melodia del corazon" by Edgardo Donato. I think "Mi serenata" - another tango performed by Donato's orquesta, is another example. I don't know the name of the melody it borrows from.

  • Edgardo Donato

    1. "La melodia del corazon" (tango)

    2. "El lengue" (milonga)

  • thanks once again oscar !

  • I'd love to know the name when you find it, thanks.

  • Not that often, in my limited listening experience. However, there is a tango adaptation of Debussy's "Reverie" ... I forget the name of it right now. I have it on a Biagi CD; will check later.

  • This music is taken from Chopin's Etude in E major, Op. 10. Does tango music do this often??
