In my opinion, the most important song ever written. You have your arguments about "who is the real Floyd", I'm going to listen to this incredible song, and listen to the important message Roger is trying to convey.

@RMR667 My brother was a bartender and told me that he pretty much had the same conversation as in the song. At the time, I had more immediate things to be bothered by. It was really only after I got back and heard ",,,Being Out of Range." and my brother's tale that I felt angry. It's easy for me to express things and then move on which is why I said "slightly".

@schmittelt I'm surprised you were only "slightly" uncomfortable with it. For many it really was a tv show. Questions like "should we watch the game, the sitcom, or the war?" might seem like an exaggeration, but with the scumbags at CNN (Peter Arnett) telling Saddam where you guys were in the desert, it was tough not to notice the tv-ratings game unfolding before us as people were getting killed. I'm a conservative myself, and appreciate your service. Thanks - many of us are beyond grateful.
