In this tasting note, District Sommelier, Caterina Mirabelli is now pouring G. Brisson, Pineau de Charentes, Cognac, France. Reveals a delicate nose of marzipan, clove, and plum aromas with a hint of white pepper. The palate is soft and silky in the mouth with a nice peppery finish. It has a mellow sweetness that rounds out the spicy nose.
Pineau is AWESOME!! I have tried Daniel Bouju and Chateau de Beaulon.
