Showing off squad functionality in EISBot. In this video, EISBot is playing as Protoss versus the Blizzard Zerg AI on Longinus.

An update on EISBot will be available soon at the google code page: http://code.google.com/p/eisbot/

  • what classifies the units as a "squad"?

  • @twistedbydsign99 The circles show a group of units controlled as a squad. However, it's not using control groups.

  • @Pygon82 win against a human? Do all humans play the same? Overlord AI beats D/D+ players. Some other bots was also D+ on icup. Give it 2-3-4 years it will beat C-/C. In 5-10 years - B/A rank etc.

  • For none player controlled (NPC) games there is nost of the time the "win of features"

    - does the team has scouts (here: both)

    - does the team knows how to retreat (here: only the protos)

    - does the team knows how to support attacks (here: none)

I think every year it will get better because the programers will have to implement new features to win over the older bots

How long do you think will it take till enough features are implemented to win against a human?
