Amy Bucciferro launched Floating Food in 2010 to give voice and direction to the movement towards waterborne food transportation in the New York region. She has devoted much of her time to the water and waterfront, with parallel paths in media and nonprofit management. Amy currently works for the innovative nonprofit PortSide NewYork and has engaged in projects with groups such as Greenshores NYC, the Empire State Maritime Alliance, the Tug Pegasus & Lilac Preservation Projects, the New York Museum of Water and the Tugboat Cornell. In the world of media she has managed print production for Brant Publications, email marketing for BizBash Media, and continues to freelance in the industry.
