@gnossticc He didn't persecute christianity, he took control of it. He used christianity to commit his evil actions, the only reason he could take control of the people is because they believed him to be a godlike being. And the only reason they believed that was because of christianity...which stalin took control of. If you want to know a society without religion look at scandinavia...we haven't been at war for 200 years. Atheism has been more peaceful than christianity by far.

@Hermoor Sir, again: Stalin persecuted and purged his OWN people! Do you know that? He also has a KGB...Do you know what that was? 25,000,000 aproximmately of his own people murdered. Sent to the Gulag and Siberia, his own people to die in forced labors by their own Saint! I know, he is indeed regarded as saint but that doesn't change the fact that STALIN PERSECUTED CHRISTIANISM AND UNTIL RECENTLY SURFACED AGAIN! That's the argument!

@gnossticc If he said that give me video link and at what minute second he said it. Also I'm pretty sure he hasn't said anything about stalin doing the things he did because he was an atheist. Russia was very religiuos...and the leader...stalin became a saint...within christianity. Stalin was atheist...but he didn't do anything in the name of atheism. Communist russia...was religious...stupid...ignorant. There is a difference between an entire country and one person.
