Taking apart a Shinai can be daunting, Here's how I do it, It may not be the best way, but it works for me. :)

i haven't dissassembled my shinai yet and the slats don't come apart easily. are there any ways of applying large pressure without damaging the disk or the slats? or is there a trick to separating them easily?
