i read in an interview that he or someone close to him were in an accident.He wasn't so much into God..but then ater that he got more into him...also he played in further seems forever....now,FSF were not a christian band but the members were..and some songs reflected their spiritually.thanks for posting this great song.

he's very christian.
the whole band is. he's stated in many interviews that he just chooses not to write about religion but started dashboard as a "christians in a band" not a "christian band" thing.
he said he became christian because back when he was young all his friends were so against it, it made him interested in it. and he got hooked.
