@Normandy5 Ah, the PC can't even find the camera when connected with USB.. I suspect I have a faulty camera.

@dedded101 FAT32 is correct. Either format the card in the 808 camera, or in a card reader.

Do these devices automatically open an application on the computer when connected via usb?
Nothing seems to be happening with mine.
I'm yet to get a micro sim too, would this have anything to do with it?

@akie64 No 808 opens an application when USB connected. When USB connected the 808 installs as a mass storage device. If it is a #3 and no SD card installed, it will USB connect as an empty mass storage device. Other versions might behave different. If problems, reset the camera, use a good USB cable and a formatted SD/SDHC card.

is it true that a 4gb card will work on these? The one I had didn't, but a 2gig is working beautifuly. Woot! having fun already. thanks for everyone for all the help!

@fuzzytattoologic A 4GB card will work. Make sure you re-format it before use.

so i bought one. everything worked good for one day until i connected it to my computer, tried to see the videos and pics i took, but there wern't any files there anymore. the video and picture files were gone. the camera stills seems to take pictures and recored, but i just cant see the files. i even tried to see them by just connecting the sd card alone, nothing.

@Juicebox756 Format the flash card (FAT32) and try again, or try a different flash card.
